Where is Your Focus – Looking Ahead or Back?

Paul teaches us to focus on Jesus in our life. We are told to pursue Him and press on to be Christ-like. The goal we have is to attain Jesus. He is the prize that awaits us at the finish line. We do not realize the spiritual blessing that await us when we attain our heavenly goal. Looking back to past success or failures, past hurt or offense takes our focus off Christ and onto our self. Our call is to press and strain and reach through life’s sufferings to seek Jesus and nothing else.
