Matthew 19:1-26 – Lasting Relationships

Every day we deal with situations with other people and with God Himself that bring conflict into our lives. In the home regarding marriage, we find today that giving up on each other is easier than working through problems. God’s desire for marriage is that it endures and doesn’t fall apart. Jesus gives instructions for how we can stay together. Then we see relationships many times destroyed because we had a greater interest in ourselves than really knowing God. In today’s teaching, we begin to see what hinders forgiveness in a marriage and how what we need to possess can keep us separated from God.
