God’s Wisdom Man’s Ignorance - 1 Corinthians 2
As Paul takes us through his experiences with the flawed Church of Corinth he teaches us that God’s Wisdom is superior to our human ways of maneuvering our lives. I find many times in life it’s easy to be influenced by how the world deals with human challenges. It’s easy to be influenced by media marketing to deal with our goals in life of achievement and success. Media easily influences us in our sexual drives and relationships, our material wealth and gain, and our personal relationships with others. We’re easily influenced and try to find our way by experimenting with worldly wisdom that leaves us empty. Paul discussed how God’s wisdom is perfect and if we are open to that we will find satisfaction in our lives and glorify God. Versus shame, regret, and running around in circles trying to find real meaning in life. I know from personal experience that my failures come from rejecting God’s wisdom and leaning on my own understanding.
