Crossing the Jordan in Our Spiritual Life

God rescued the Israelites out of bondage to deliver them to a land flowing with milk and honey, a place that He had prepared for them. They wandered in the desert for 40 years, because they did not trust God to give them the land He had promised. Finally, on the edge of the Jordan, some chose not to enter God’s rest because they were satisfied with what they could see rather than trusting God’s plan for them. Are you trusting God today for His plan for you? Have you crossed the Jordan trusting God with all things that He has prepared for you? Or, are you trusting what you can see and are comfortable and satisfied there?
