Colossians 1:19-29 – Preeminence of Christ (Part 2)

We will continue our discussion on the supremacy and deity of Jesus Christ. Paul now addresses the false teachings of the gnostics. They believe that all matter or material things are defiled so Jesus could not be God who came in the flesh. Paul corrected this error by teaching that all the fullness of God was in Christ Jesus. We need nothing more than Christ for our salvation because all the fullness of the Godhead was in Christ Jesus.
