Colossians 1:12-20 – Preeminence of Christ

In this portion of scripture, Paul teaches that in addition to praying that the Colossians be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, be strengthened with patience and longsuffering, and increase in the knowledge of God, that they are thankful for 5 things; that they were qualified by God to be partakers of the inheritance of the Saints, for being delivered from the power of darkness and conveyed into the kingdom of the son of His love, for being redeemed and being forgiven of sins. All this was through the blood of the preeminent Christ Jesus.
