Acts 21-28 - Persecution Because of Jesus
In the weeks ahead as we move toward the end of the Acts of the Apostles, the study will focus on the conflict Paul encountered as he represented Christ and His Resurrection from the dead. During this period of his ministry, it became increasingly challenging to preach without trials, false accusations, beatings, and imprisonment. As we work through the last eight chapters, we will discover that being a true follower of Christ has a cost. There will be times of being misunderstood, conflicts, abandonment from friends, and also attacks from the forces of darkness. Sometimes it will seem unfair, yet we are to always trust God rather than man. We will see how Paul persevered in the midst of unfair trials, yet still glorified Christ.
