1 Peter 3:11 – Living Harmoniously – Part 2

Continuing our discussion in 1 Peter 3, picking up at verse 11, Peter commands believers not to seek revenge on those who persecute them. Peter quotes David and Isaiah to show that God’s people have always been called to reject evil and do good. This is also true when we suffer wrongfully for righteousness. Suffering may be the will of God at times to show His keeping power. By our continued obedience to God, in suffering, unbelievers could be convicted and come to repentance when we give an answer for our hope.
