Welcome! It is our prayer that this course will enrich your walk and deepen your relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! This online course is completely free of charge to all viewers, but there are a few points we would like to discuss up front before you begin your journey:
- This course is based on the Biblical Discipleship Handbook course produced by Graceway, Kansas City, MO. For those who would like to watch the videos and follow along with a handbook, hard copies of Graceway’s 16 lesson handbooks can be purchased online at realityliving.org. Look for the link to Discipleship 1 (16 lessons). Calvary Chapel Westmoreland has added scripture in this video series, in certain places, to provide additional Biblical context.
- The philosophy behind this course is Matt. 28:19-20:
- Win a person to Jesus Christ.
- Disciple them in the way they should walk.
- Send them out to the world to share with others.
The commandment to make disciples is what this course is all about. Once you have completed all 16 lessons, you can fulfill this commandment by personally teaching these lessons to someone else, helping them become a Bible-based disciple of Jesus Christ. This video series can be an important resource in accomplishing that.
