Deception Without Jesus

Back in the days of the early church, there were many false teachings influencing people. The Truth Of Jesus and His life was always being twisted by the vain philosophies of the day. Complicated teachings that compelled people to follow man-made rules, and pagan superstition, was very popular. Like today, we live in times of false teaching run rampant, because there is less teaching of the Bible and more voices that oppose the teaching of Christ found in the scriptures. Paul continues to lift up Christ as superior to all teachings from man. That in Christ, all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge reside. No need to look anywhere else for He Alone is God.
