2 Timothy 3:1-9 : Perilous Times – Part 2

We will continue Paul’s discussion on the depravity of men in “The Last Days. As we reflect on our own lives and see some of these same characteristics, we have hope because of the grace given to us through faith in Jesus Christ.

Here in Chapter 3, Paul becomes the prophet as he declares the perilous times of the Last Days. Paul discusses the character of the last days and instructs Timothy how to respond. The emphasis of this chapter is on knowledge of the times and Timothy’s responsibility. It’s important that we take heed to what the word of God says about these days and take action according to that knowledge. We are to continue in the things we have learned and been assured of through the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make us wise for Salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
